On November 5, 2022, the Marching Band competed at the MMBA Urbana competition, a Prelims/Finals format. They performed at 2:30 and won 1st place in the Open-Small division, earning the caption award for Best Color Guard, Best Overall Effect, and Best Overall Visual. With the highest score in this part of the competition, the band moved on to the finals competition, where they competed against 11 bands. The marching band also won this part of the competition and was crowned MMBA Western Regional Champions. In addition, they won Best Overall Effect, Best Overall Music, and Best Overall Visual. I am so proud and happy for these musicians. Their smiles are contagious and priceless. Thank you also to our wonderful group of parents who help every weekend.
